On the occasion of the World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought, 17th June 2020, the World Bank through its two operations; Sudan Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forests Degradation Readiness Program (REDD+) and Sudan Sustainable Natural Resources Management Project (SSNRMP) is organizing a photo contest to promote the role of visual storytelling in combating desertification and drought in Sudan. The contest is open to all Sudanese professional and amateur photographers residing in Sudan.
